There is no blood or gore, and as for language, the worst words that may be used by the characters are 'idiot', 'jerk', and/or 'darn', hardly inappropriate language for even someone at the age of 10 or 11. This game is, in my opinion, very fun, albeit the complications that come with the controls. However, many children, I find (myself included), do enjoy a certain level of action and suspense. If you have a 10 or 11 year-old asking to to get this, I think that you should talk to your child about violence and how it is not good to play video games that are about killing people.
